Creative Spaces

At North Harringay Primary School we believe in creating an environment that nurtures creativity, exploration, and a lifelong love of learning. Our unique spaces are designed to support the development of children’s interests across a wide range of subjects.

Rooftop Garden

Our rooftop garden offers a tranquil space for children to connect with nature and other areas of learning. It’s the perfect place for scientific exploration, art and during the summer a perfect space to relax and read a book.

Allotment

The school allotment is a dedicated area where children can cultivate their own vegetables, fruits, and flowers. Through gardening, students develop an understanding of where food comes from, learn responsibility, and experience the joy of nurturing plants from seed to harvest.

Music Room

The music room is a vibrant space filled with instruments and resources that inspire students to explore their musical talents. Whether it's learning to play an instrument, singing, or composing, this room offers a variety of opportunities for children to engage with music in a supportive, creative environment.

Library

Our well-stocked library offers a vast collection of books that cater to all interests and reading levels. This is in addition to the books available to children in their classroom Book Corners.

ICT Suite

Our ICT suite provides students with the tools to develop their digital skills. This space is designed to teach children how to use technology responsibly and creatively, from coding and programming to digital art and online research. The ICT suite plays a vital role in preparing students for the technological world they will navigate in the future. This is in addition to other technology available in classrooms such as iPads and Chromebooks.

Children’s Kitchen

Through practical lessons, children discover the importance of healthy eating while developing practical life skills. The kitchen is an engaging space for hands-on learning, allowing students to experiment with new recipes.

Forest School Area

Our forest school area allows children to immerse themselves in nature. In this outdoor classroom, students engage in experiential learning that encourages risk-taking, problem-solving, and teamwork.
